After more than 12 years with the same identity, Verdant Solar was entering a new phase of growth following its public listing.
The brand had evolved organically over time, leading to inconsistencies across digital platforms, marketing materials, and physical environments.
As residential solar adoption accelerated, Verdant needed a clearer and more cohesive identity that reflected its leadership in the market while remaining approachable to homeowners considering renewable energy for the first time.
Insight
Verdant Solar had already played a key role in making renewable energy more accessible to Malaysian homeowners. The opportunity was to make that story easier to understand and more consistent across the brand.
Through stakeholder interviews and research into customer perception, we identified a need to reposition Verdant around a more human and approachable narrative. Solar energy can often feel technical or complex, especially for homeowners considering it for the first time.
What we did
We began with stakeholder interviews, research into the residential solar landscape, and competitor analysis across regional energy providers.
These insights informed a refreshed brand strategy and identity system designed to express Verdant’s role as a trusted partner in the transition to clean energy.
The new identity introduced a warmer colour palette, softer visual language, and a more cohesive system across digital, marketing, and physical touchpoints.
Result
The result is a brand that feels both modern and accessible, supporting Verdant’s continued growth as Malaysia’s leading residential solar provider.
The refreshed direction communicates both expertise and care, reinforcing Verdant’s leadership in residential solar while making the transition to clean energy feel more approachable for homeowners.
